Dan’s real estate career began in Public Accounting in 1983. With Arthur Andersen & Company and then Kenneth Leventhal & Company, he became a CPA and provided organizational, real estate, and financial consulting services.
Dan learned integral parts of land & residential development and operations by working with large land development and homebuilding companies – The Irvine Company (100,000 acres, over 300,000 homes), The William Lyon Company, Signal Landmark, and JM Peters. From 1986 through 2011 he served as a senior executive for numerous real estate development companies across the United States and Internationally.
Sourced and negotiated in excess of $3 Billion in debt and equity for acquisitions and financings for companies and projects
Negotiated, acquired, developed and operated 60+ residential and commercial real estate projects
Acquired/merged public and private companies – P&L responsibility for $100 million+
International, Governmental and Wall Street business and financial development. Active involvement in multi-state and international markets and projects. Served on the Board of Directors for seven different concerns
